Product Registration Supreme – Privacy Policy

Product Registration Supreme (“the App”) provides a tool that allows Shopify merchants to collect and manage customer product registrations, such as warranty registration or post-purchase data collection (“the Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account, including:

  • Store Information – Store name, store email, store owner name

  • Product Data – Product titles, descriptions, SKUs, images, and associated metadata

  • Order Data – Order ID, customer name, email, product purchased, and order date

  • Customer Data – Customer name, email, address (to associate product registrations with valid purchases)

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers once you have installed the App:

  • Information about you and others who may access the App on behalf of your store, such as your name, email address, and billing information (if applicable)

  • Information submitted through product registration forms by your customers, such as their name, contact details, purchase information (order number, product serial number), and optional notes

  • Information about individuals who visit your store or use the registration form, such as their IP address, web browser details, time zone, and cookie data

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual, through your Shopify account, or using the following technologies:

  • Cookies – Data files placed on your device or computer which often include an anonymous unique identifier. Learn more at www.allaboutcookies.org

  • Log Files – Track actions occurring on the App and collect data such as IP address, browser type, ISP, referring/exit pages, and timestamps

  • Web Beacons, Tags, and Pixels – Electronic files used to record information about how you browse and interact with the App interface

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers in order to:

  • Provide the Service and operate the App

  • Register and validate customer product registrations

  • Allow you to view, manage, and export registration records

  • Communicate with you about app updates or issues

  • Optimize or improve the App and user experience

  • Provide you with support and respond to inquiries

We do not use your data for behavioral advertising or unrelated marketing purposes.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not share your Personal Information with third parties except to help us provide our services, such as:

  • Shopify Inc. – To authenticate access to your store data

  • Cloud service providers – For data storage and app functionality (e.g., AWS or similar)

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request, or protect our legal rights.

Behavioural Advertising

We do not engage in behavioral or targeted advertising based on the personal information collected by this App.

Your Rights (for European Residents)

If you are a European resident, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Request corrections, updates, or deletion of your personal information

Please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to servers in Canada and the United States, to support the App’s functionality.

Data Retention

We retain your store data and product registration records for as long as your store has the App installed. Upon uninstallation, we delete stored data within 30 days, unless we are legally required to retain it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons.
