Order Fields Supreme – Privacy Policy

Order Fields Supreme (“the App”) provides a tool that allows Shopify merchants to add and manage custom order fields on their store’s cart or checkout page, enabling them to collect additional information from customers during the order process (“the Service”). This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account, including:

  • Store Information – Store name, store email, store owner name

  • Order Data – Order ID, order status, line items, notes, and checkout attributes

  • Customer Data – Customer name, email, address (linked to the custom fields if applicable)

  • Cart and Checkout Data – Information entered by customers into custom fields (e.g., gift messages, delivery instructions, or any other custom inputs you define)

Additionally, we collect the following types of personal information from you and/or your customers:

  • Information about you and your staff who access the App, such as name and email (for admin access and support)

  • Visitor IP address, browser, device type, and cookie data (only to support field rendering and session tracking if required)

We collect personal information directly through the Shopify account, the customer-facing store interface, or using the following technologies:

  • Log Files – Track actions occurring on the App and collect data such as IP address, browser type, ISP, referring/exit pages, and timestamps

  • Web Beacons, Tags, and Pixels – Electronic files used to record information about how customers interact with the custom fields and the storefront

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect from you and your customers to:

  • Provide and operate the custom order field functionality

  • Save and display custom field inputs on orders

  • Allow you to view, manage, and export collected field data

  • Communicate with you regarding support and updates

  • Improve the App’s performance, compatibility, and usability

We do not use your or your customers’ data for behavioral advertising or unrelated marketing.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We do not share your Personal Information with third parties except to help us provide our services, such as:

  • Shopify Inc. – To authenticate access and process order/checkout data

  • Cloud service providers – For hosting and secure storage of form input data (e.g., AWS or similar)

We may also disclose your information to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests (such as subpoenas or court orders), or protect our legal rights.

Behavioural Advertising

We do not use your data or your customers’ data for behavioral or targeted advertising.

Your Rights (for European Residents)

If you are a European resident, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Request corrections, updates, or deletion of your personal information

Please note that your data may be processed and stored outside of Europe, including in the United States or Canada, in accordance with our hosting and operational needs.

Data Retention

We retain collected field data and associated configurations for as long as your store has the App installed. Upon uninstallation, we delete your store’s data within 30 days, unless legally required to retain it.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our data practices, app features, or legal requirements.
